Mom Wonders If She Should Pull Her Baby From Nursery School After Numerous Health & Safety Issues

Recently, a mom anonymously posted a conundrum she has been facing regarding a daycare issue to a forum for fellow moms for brainstorming and opinions.

Daycare definitely has its pros and cons. The obvious pros are that someone will watch your child or children while you work or run errands, etc. Whereas, the obvious cons are that it can be quite costly, that you likely don't really know who is watching your child and that you really can't guarantee the quality of safety that your child or children will receive while you are away.

According to Mumsnet.com, one mom decided to anonymously air her daycare concerns on an online forum just for moms to see if she could get other moms' thoughts on her situation.

She wrote that her "DS" (for "Darling Son") is just 9 months old and has been going to daycare for 2 days per week for about 3 weeks now. But ever since some things have occurred that have this mom feeling a bit uneasy about daycare.

Firstly, her baby came home with a big bruise on his shin, and horrifyingly enough, the daycare staff didn't say anything about it at all. The mom wrote that the bruise was so large that there was no way it could not be seen. The staff never asked her about it.

She also wrote that she suspected the staff of not giving her son his milk when he was scheduled to have it because once he was "starving at pick up." Another disturbing incident was the time the mom went to pick up her son and saw him playing with a daycare staff member in the garden only to find him choking on a leaf!

The poor baby also often gets a terrible diaper rash often. The mom ended the post asking for advice from other moms and wanting to know if asking to request a meeting with the daycare staff was an acceptable option.

We think so, but we're more interested to know your opinion. Drop your thoughts in the comments!
