Alysia Montano recently ran the 800 meters in the U.S Track and Field Championships on Thursday. Not only did she run this 800 meters... she did it while 34 weeks pregnant!

"I've been running throughout my pregnancy and I felt really, really good during the whole process," Montano said after the qualifying heat. She ended up finishing in 2 mins, 32.13 seconds which is around 35 seconds slower than her usual personal best. At 28 years old, she ended up getting a roaring standing ovation at the end of her race. She of course consulted with her doctor before doing this and they actually encouraged her to go for it!

"That took away any fear of what the outside world might think about a woman running during her pregnancy," Montano said. "What I found out mostly was that exercising during pregnancy is actually much better for the mom and the baby. ... I did all the things I normally do ... I just happened to be pregnant. This is my normal this year."

Way to go Mama!!
