Famous actress, Emma Roberts, is happy to have four of her best friends experiencing pregnancy alongside her. She revealed in an interview with Drew Barrymore that they have helped quite a bit in her pregnancy journey.
Roberts, who recently starred in the new Netflix movie Holidate, has been making the media rounds promoting the film. Of course, Roberts has been getting several questions regarding her pregnancy in conjunction with questions regarding the movie. Now that Roberts is nearing her due date, people are inquiring about the actresses' excitement for her upcoming child with her boyfriend, Garret Hedlund.
HelloGiggles has reported that Roberts chatted with Drew Barrymore on The Drew Barrymore Show face to face (with the magic of green screen) on November 13th where they discussed her new movie and how her pregnancy has been going. Roberts revealed that she is not as pregnant as people think, but still close to her expected due date. “I’ve hit the point where like halfway up the stairs I have to sit down sometimes and maybe tears roll down a couple of times a week," she joked with the talk show host. Barrymore then asked about how she has been dealing with being pregnant, especially during a pandemic. "I feel so lucky because four of my close girlfriends were pregnant this year or had a baby this year," she stated. "So, I've had such a nice support group of other women that either were ahead of me in their pregnancy or on their second baby." The expecting mother added that she feels lucky to have friends she is able to talk to day or night about any pregnancy-related questions. The actress feels good about having her friends there to help guide her through this new journey she is on.
The 29-year-old announced she was expecting her first child with Garret Hedlund this past August. She confirmed the rumors of her pregnancy and the gender of her child in a sweet Instagram picture, which featured the actress cradling her baby bump with Hedlund by her side. Last month, she and a few friends from her "pod" celebrated her pregnancy by throwing a small garden baby shower. Roberts wore a long floral dress with a matching mask for the get-together. She was also featured on the cover of Cosmopolitan this month as the first pregnant woman ever to have a cover spread. Not only has her pregnancy brought her motherhood, but Emma has also made history.
Thanks to her close friends, Roberts has an amazing support group to help her through this journey, especially during such a difficult time in the world. Maybe once the pandemic is over, Roberts and her friends can get all the kids together for a playdate! Wouldn't that be nice?
