Amidst all the drama Jersy Shore star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, finally spent some sweet moments with his 19-month-old daughter, Ariana, with ex-girlfriend, Jen Harley.
On Thursday, November 28, the 33-year-old MTV actor posted an adorable photo on Instagram with his, which he captioned, “I am thankful for all of my friends & family! I am most thankful for my whole world & reason for me doing everything I do everyday #DaddysLittleGirl 🌎 @ariana_sky_magro.”
On October 4, he was taken into custody on a kidnapping charge after an alleged dispute with Harley. Their relationship has always been known for its volatility, and time and again, each has accused the other of adultery and abuse.
An order to stay at least 150 yards away from Harley, 32 and their daughter Ariana was issued against Ortiz-Magro following the alleged domestic violence altercation in October, which was in place till October 11.
Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson confirmed to PEOPLE that the authorities had answered a battery report at around 2:40 a.m. The spokesperson said, “The victim and suspect were involved in some kind of physical altercation. Officers did have to use a taser on the suspect in which a minor use of force occurred. There was no further incident.”
The next day, Ortiz-Magro’s lawyer remarked that the reporting of the suspected incident relating to Ronnie Magro was based upon “pure speculation and innuendo." They were in the process of conducting their investigation, and they denied any further comments until anything was proven.
The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star afterward pleaded not guilty to the charges, which included seven misdemeanors, child endangerment, false imprisonment, and resisting arrest.
Los Angeles City Attorney's Office's spokesperson, Rob Wilcox, spoke to Us Weekly on November 12, “The protective order issued last Friday is good for the pendency of the case. Once, and if, the defendant is convicted, a more long-lasting one will be issued.”
Harley, on the other hand, claimed that she had no problem with Ortiz-Magro meeting Ariana. All she wanted was a “family” for their daughter. He could meet her whenever he wanted with legal permission. She took to Instagram, saying, "I’m not keeping Ariana from Ron I did not ask for a restraining order. I’m working on getting it dropped so he can see her if he wants too. … All I ever wanted was a family for our daughter, the toxic part was sweeping everything under the rug and trying to look past all the cheating just didn’t work for me. I’m heartbroken from it all and just want to coparent peacefully.”
Two weeks after the incident, the father-daughter reunited, and according to a source, he couldn't have been happier. The source added, Ariana is his whole world, and he was distraught not being able to see her.
Both the parents claim they want the best for Ariana and are trying to co-parent as best as they can.
