Retired Colts star, Andrew Luck recently welcomed a little baby girl with his wife Nicole.

We are so excited to announce that NFL star, ex-Colts player, Andrew Luck and his wife Nicole just gave birth to a sweet little baby girl on November 12. Of course, people are very excited about the fact that she gave birth on the 12th because Luck's jersey number was 12 before retiring from the NFL this past August. They named their daughter Lucy. NFL Network's Andrea Kremer made the announcement on her Twitter page saying, "Jacoby Brissett, Frank Reich and Chris Ballard are just some of the who still keep in close touch with new father Andrew Luck. Luck's wife, Nicole, gave birth to a daughter, Lucy, on Nov. 12. "

Luck and college gymnast Nicole Pechanec met at Stanford.  Pechanec was born in Newark, New Jersey to Czechoslovakian parents. At 15 years old she made the decision to move to Czech Republic to train with the national team. She represented her country in the World Games and European Championships. She then returned to the United States to attend Stanford. She became the captain of their gymnastics team and participated in two NCAA finals. While Luck was there playing football.  Luck went on to become the number one Draft pick in 2012. Andrew and Nicole got married in March 2019 in the Czech Republic. “It was awesome,” Luck said in April. “It was the best day of my life, and probably the best offseason I’ve ever had."

Andrew Luck made a surprising move at the beginning of the 2019 season when he decided to announce that he would be retiring from the NFL. He shocked many people by saying he would no longer be playing football anymore even though he was only 29 years old. Luck has had a lot of bad luck (pardon the pun) in the past few years during his career in football. He has been injured several times and has had to rehabilitate. It seems as if right when he starts playing again he gets hurt and then has to start the healing all over. “I haven’t been able to live the life I want to live,” Luck said as he fought off tears. “It’s taken the joy out of this game. The only way forward for me is to remove myself from football and this cycle I’ve been in.” Although many people were stunned to hear the news, most people understood and have respected his decision.

We are so excited that he gets to retire from football because now he gets to spend more time with his wife and his beautiful daughter Lucy. We are so excited for the family and we hope that Nicole is recovering smoothly and that Lucy continues to get big and strong! Congratulations you guys on the new baby!
