Vanessa Lachey shares how she is excited to send all three of her children off to school this year for the first time.
98 Degrees singer, Nick Lachey, and his wife, Vanessa Lachey have three beautiful children. Their children are Camden John, 7, Brooklyn Elisabeth, 4 1/2, and finally their youngest, Phoenix Robert, 2 1/2. This is the first year that the couple will be sending all of their children to school at the same time and they are so very excited! Their oldest son will be going to first grade, Brooklyn is going to full-time preschool and then their youngest, Pheonix, will be going to preschool part-time for the first time.

Vanessa says that she is really looking forward to sending Pheonix to preschool. She shares that he is not her baby anymore but she is excited for him to gain a little bit of independence. She says that it is a big deal because it will be the first time that he will be able to start to figure out things by himself. Vanessa does admit that he will not be going to preschool by himself. Pheonix will be going to preschool with his older sister Brooklyn who will be attending full time. Vanessa shares that Brooklyn is the sweetest caregiver ever.
Their oldest son, Camden, is very excited to be able to participate in activities at his K-6 elementary school. He loves to be involved in anything athletic and so they are very excited to be able to watch Camden participate in some of the school function events where he can show off his athletic skills. Vanessa shares that her son is the most active child ever and he will try everything.
Vanessa shares that being a parent is busy and there is a lot of things that will go wrong. She is part of Top Chef Junior and then Nick is also on tour with 98 degrees so it has been really busy for the family. She shares that things are not going to go perfectly. She wants to make sure that she constantly reminds herself that everything is going to be okay. She wants to make sure that her children don't get stressed out and she lets them know that they don't have to rush to get everywhere. She knows it will be chaotic but she is ready for all of the excitement.
