Lil Xan revealed to the world this week that he will soon become a father, and ex Noah Cyrus has apparently not been affected by the news in the slightest.
Break-ups can be extremely messy. Even when they are mutual or even expected, there is a certain degree of awkwardness that comes along with them. Going from this person being one of the most important in your life to just another friend, if that. In most cases, remaining friends with an ex can be an extremely difficult thing to do.
However, even if you are doing it from afar, part of you wants to know what your ex is up to in the weeks and months after your break up. It might sound unhealthy, but if you're struggling, you want to know that they are struggling too. That's why news of your ex moving on to someone new, especially if it is soon after you were together, can be a bitter pill to swallow.

That's why the news broken by Lil Xan must have been quite the blow to his ex-girlfriend Noah Cyrus. Earlier this week, Lil Xan revealed on Instagram that he and new girlfriend Annie Smith are expecting a baby. For those unfamiliar with the rapper's love life, he and Miley Cyrus's little sister only broke up five months ago.
Clearly, Lil Xan works fast. If we were struck with the news that our ex had met someone, fallen in love, and was preparing to be a father just five months after breaking up with us, we would definitely be significantly affected. However, according to sources close to Cyrus that have spoken to Us Weekly, that is not the case. "She is completely over him and has moved past that part of her life," the unnamed source explained.
A selfie Cyrus posted to her Instagram story would beg to differ, however. The snap is a selfie in which she is crying along with the caption "whata day." Admittedly there is no confirmation that Cyrus is crying about her ex's baby news, but the timing is certainly a little coincidental. No blame here, though. As we said, if our ex was expecting a baby five months after we broke up, we'd be crying too and would probably be eating our feelings to boot.
