It’s clear that Pippa Middleton loves fitness, and the new mom has proved to everyone that she’s all about maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Pippa, who is the younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, just gave birth to a son with her husband, James Matthews. According to People, Pippa is about ten weeks postpartum, and she was recently photographed on a dreamy beach vacation in St. Barts.

The 35-year-old mother looked radiant in a two-piece bikini, featuring white and black accents while walking with her husband, James, donning blue swim trunks. Pippa, who has been a lifelong supporter of fitness, looks fabulous, and many have noted that the new mom has made an incredible stride towards bouncing back after her pregnancy. Highlighting her slim tummy, James and Pippa seemed aglow together, stepping out on the sand hand in hand. Recently, the pair has also been spotted at a holiday event hosted by the Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund on December 4th. At the event, the couple sported a matching outfit, including Pippa sporting a chic burgundy coat and James wearing a matching colored tie. Since the birth of their son, Pippa and James have kept things low-key, and have done their best to stay away from the paparazzi. However, multiple news outlets have reported that the family often stays active together, walking throughout London with their newborn baby boy.

While every mother’s journey through pregnancy is notably different, Pippa Middleton graciously shared some general fitness tips for mom’s and mother’s to be. In a column from Waitrose, Middleton explained her own fitness journey, and how she adapted some of her exercises while she was pregnant. Pippa revealed that she was initially used to working out about 4 to 5 times per week, but she changed up her routine during her first trimester. Instead, Middleton opted for exercising for 45 minutes, approximately three to four times a week. Pippa always expressed that she would base her workout intensity on her energy levels of the day, and made sure to go lighter at times. On her off days, Middleton shared that she would also take group fitness classes like barre, pilates, yoga or general strength workouts. Although Pippa was used to running before, she decided to forgo hitting the pavement, and chose to complete other exercises like cycling, or walking with some weights. In general, expectant mothers are encouraged to consult with their primary care physician before starting a new exercise routine. With the dawn of a new year, Pippa Middleton’s tips are an excellent way to stay motivated towards achieving your fitness goals.
