Pippa Middleton Takes 11-Month-Old Son To Gym To Burn Energy & Learn Skills

He may not even be old enough to walk and talk, but mother Pippa Middleton wants her son Arthur to learn the importance of staying fit and maintaining a healthy lifestyle already. As a matter of fact, there’s a new report that says Kate Middleton’s sister has been taking her 11-month-old son to a children's gym so he can learn “physical skills.”

It’s without a doubt that Pippa is one of the fittest mums in all of the United Kingdom. She is often seen either going for a jog or heading to the gym herself. If that weren’t enough, she also participates in grueling ironman and triathlon competitions during her spare time on the weekends. Being athletic must be a family trait because her sister, the Duchess of Cambridge, has also shown off her sporty side during royal engagements in the past.

Now, Pippa wants her son Arthur to be just as active as the rest of the family. The 36-year-old first-time mother has been taking her son Arthur to a baby gym so he can learn the importance of staying physical while also burning some of that baby energy in him, too.

In fact, Pippa even wrote about her gym visits in her Waitrose Weekend fitness column. She said that she chose the activity center because it helps promote movement, balance and strength in little kids. She explained in her latest post that she’s been trying to come up with different activities to do with the growing tot.

The royal mama wrote, “I needed to find something more than just park walks in the pram. Our local baby gym has been a saving grace. Arthur burns lots of energy in this safe environment and learns many physical skills. I have also noticed him building his confidence with each visit.”

It’s been also noted that many baby gyms are made up of soft objects like balls playmats, stairs, swings and in some places even mini-trampolines. It’s also a safe place where parents can watch over their kids while they have their own free time with small children that are close in age. Pippa Middleton also added that she works out at her own gym four to five times a week. Between her own gym visits and going to the baby gym with Arthur, fans can only imagine how she gets anything else done during her downtime.
