Pippa Middleton has finally confirmed that she is expecting her first child. She also revealed her new go to workout routine that she has been doing during her pregnancy.

According to the Daily Mail, Middleton has always been a very active person and she was not going to let pregnancy stop her from keeping very active, while also being careful not to harm her baby.

One thing that has helped her maintain her workout regimen is that Kate’s younger sister did not suffer from morning sickness, the way the Duchess of Cambridge did with her three kids. In fact, she admitted she was fortunate to get through her first trimester without any morning sickness, lucky Pippa!

Since she did not suffer from hyperemesis gravidarum, the extreme morning sickness which can run in families, Middleton is able to keep up 45 minute workouts a few times a week. She tries to go to the gym three to four times a week, depending on how tired she is on any given occasion.

Middleton was an avid jogger before her pregnancy. She has given that up in favor of strengthening and conditioning at the gym, and also enjoys doing Pilates and yoga. On the days she is not in the gym, the 34-year-old goes cycling or walks with weights. She is focused on getting some good cardio in (that has been approved by her doctor, of course!).

Pippa Middleton and husband James Matthews are expecting their little one this fall. She is working hard to maintain a healthy body that will support her pregnancy. She is also very sporty and wants to keep as much of that lifestyle as she possibly can while she is pregnant.

Because of this desire to maintain an active lifestyle, Middleton is following a Bespoke Package Pregnancy Support Program created for her at the exclusive Chelsea gym, KX. The specialized plan includes a detailed nutrition plan, physical therapy, and exercise for nine months. It also includes postnatal care after the baby is born.

Like most first time moms Middleton was in the dark about what exercises were okay. She consulted her doctor, a coach and her gym to help her navigate during this time. As for jogging, she does miss it and could have done it while pregnant, but she thought it would be best to give her body a break from pounding the pavement. Middleton is also encouraging other pregnant ladies out there to try to find even a simple routine to do daily and stay active while preparing for baby.
