A family dog saved the family from a fire and even pulled the baby out by her diaper.

A neighborhood home caught on fire and it started spreading rapidly. The fire started spreading further to other buildings. The family's 8-month-old pitbull went into the home and started barking and banging on the door. The owner of the pitbull, Nana Chaichanhda, opened up the door to see why the dog was acting so weird. Nana said that the puppy will sometimes bark but won't be as uncontrollable as she was that night. When she opened up the door the dog sprinted by and she had no idea what the puppy was running from or for. Nana looked up and saw why the dog was barking. She noticed that her cousin's fourplex was on fire.

Nana said that before she even could analyze what was happening the dog was already heading towards her 7-month-old daughter, Masailah’s room. Nana said that before she knew it the puppy, Sasha, already had the baby's diaper in her mouth. Nana quickly ran over to the foreplex and thankfully her cousin was not home so nobody was injured.  Nana said that Sasha usually sleeps with Mesailah but that evening she thought that Sasha should sleep outside for some reason.

"I owe her everything. If it wasn’t for her, I would have still been in bed and things could have taken a worse turn,” Nana told Fox 40. Although both Nana and Mesailah are okay due to Sasha's heroism, their home was caught by the fire. The fire department was not able to stop the fire before it destroyed most of it and her home is no longer available. A lot of their stuff was also ruined. They are very grateful that everybody is safe, but they have set up a GoFundMe page to help them pay for some of the things that they lost in the fire. Sasha has to stay with another family while Nana and Mesailah are staying in another unit that does not allow pets. They want to be able to be reunited and live together soon.

We are so grateful that the family is okay and that nobody was injured in the fire. It is amazing how this dog knew exactly what do and her first response was to save her sweet little girl. We are all hoping that the family is able to raise some money to help them to find a new home and get Sasha back.
