It turns out your child’s name may have a huge bearing on whether they’re considered naughty or nice this holiday season. BabyCentre recently released a list of the top ten naughtiest names for girls and boys, and conversely, the top ten nicest names. If your child’s name winds up on this list, it may impact what Santa – or should we say you – get them for Christmas this year.

The publication decided upon the names based on their various meanings as well as different pop culture references, The Sun notes. "We found Santa’s naughty and nice lists but think he may have based them on hidden meanings and names of naughty book and film character,” Sarah Redshaw, the UK Magazine Editor for BabyCentre, explained. "Many of the naughty list names are now popular choices for parents and we are sure all of these children will have made it onto Santa’s nice list this year." They came up with forty names in total.
