Sadly, it's Splitsville for reality TV couple Dennis McKinley and Porsha Williams, just three months after the birth of daughter Pilar.
According to E! News, the Real Housewives of Atlanta personality and her former businessman fiancé have ended their engagement, which lasted approximately eight months. Pilar Jhena McKinley, affectionally called "PJ", was born back on March 22nd- and just two months later, fans began to suspect that the honeymoon might have ended for her parents before it even began.
Even though it sounds like a whirlwind romance, Williams and McKinley had been acquaintances for years and dated for a whole year before becoming engaged. But in May, Williams unfollowed McKinley on Instagram. Rumors soon began to swirl that McKinley had been unfaithful in their relationship.
Fans watched on social media as it seemed there was a slight chance for the couple to reconnect when Williams re-followed McKinley after the cheating rumors spread. For his part, McKinley proclaimed his innocence by posting, "These false and slanderous allegations against me are made solely to damage my reputation, jeopardize my ongoing businesses, and negatively impact my family," on social media.
But the couple's reconnection didn't last long. Fans of Real Housewives of Atlanta, as well as the spin-off show Porsha's Having a Baby, might have noticed a bit of foreshadowing to the couple's issues. This occurred when the pair dealt with their pre-nuptial negotiations, as well as the postponement their New Year's Eve wedding.
Williams told McKinley's mother, known as "Mama Gina", that she had planned to marry McKinley before she gave birth. But since the couple was not able to come to an agreement on their prenup, she decided it was best to focus on her pregnancy and delivering a healthy baby rather than adding the stress of a big wedding into the mix.
