Aunt Pippa has another nephew to spoil! Kate's younger sister, Philippa "Pippa" Charlotte Middleton arrived at Kensington Palace in order to meet her darling new nephew, just one day after the new prince (who is fifth in line for the throne) was born. He was born in the Lindo wing at St. Mary's Hospital in London, where his two older siblings were born, as well as his father Prince William back in 1982.
Chances are good that Pippa might be paying extra attention to this baby, her big sister Kate's third child. Surely, it wouldn't be just because Pippa has special affection for this child, but because something has changed since her nephew Prince George and niece Princess Charlotte were born. Aunt Pippa is now pregnant! Seeing as how she and hubby, James Matthews, are now expecting a little baby of their very own, Pippa will likely see babies in a new light.
Uncle Prince Harry and his bride-to-be, Meghan Markle, are expected to pay the little royal one a visit very soon, as well. But Pippa was first of the siblings of the new parents to arrive, dressed pretty in pink in an oversized pink turtleneck and large coat along with dark sunglasses as she made her way inside Kensington Palace.
Grandfather Prince Charles is currently in France for Anzac Day commemorations, but plans to return ASAP to meet his new grandson. He joked that he is going to have trouble keeping up with all of his grandchildren now. Great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth is said to have celebrated with a short horseback ride through Windsor Castle. Her husband, Prince Philip, is still recovering from his recent hip surgery.
It's said that the fans of the royal family are betting that the baby's name is either going to be Albert, Arthur, or Philip for the top choices. Personally, we think "Philip" is a nice choice to compliment the baby's older siblings names, George and Charlotte. Philip is also a lovely way to pay tribute to Prince William's grandfather and hey - Aunt Pippa, as well! The new prince's name is expected to be announced any day now and we can't wait to hear what it is!
