Last night, Carly Waddell and Evan Bass celebrated the gender reveal of their second child together on the Bachelor in Paradise reunion. Waddell and Bass joined host Chris Harrison on the reunion stage when BiP's resident bartender Wells Adams jumped out of an enormous cake in a blue onesie and screamed, “It’s a boy!”
Bass and Waddell met on the third season of BIP and got married in June 2017 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where they had also fallen in love. Their wedding was featured on season 4 of the ABC reality series. In May, the couple announced that they were expecting a baby. They currently share 19-month-old daughter Isabella “Bella” Evelyn and Bass has three boys — Nathan, Liam, and Ensley — from a previous relationship.
On social media, Waddell shared pics of the couple and their daughter showing their bellies with the cute caption, “Beer Belly, Bella Belly, BABY BELLY!!! We [are] so SO EXCITED to FINALLY announce Bella’s little brother or sister will be here in November!!! (If you wonder why I haven’t been on social media as much … well, this is why!).”

On September 9, Waddell also shared a pic of her daughter’s hand on her mom’s stomach, captioning it, “Bella can finally feel the baby move in mommy’s belly! It’s getting REAL y’all! 2 months away!”
“I remember the first time [daughter Molly Sullivan, 3] could feel [son Riley Doran, 15 months] moving in my belly,” former Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky-Manno commented. “Such a special time. A little baby will be here before you know it! It goes by so much faster the second time around.” While Married at First Sight alum Jamie Otis, who is also expecting, wrote, “I can’t wait for this!!!😍So sweet!”
In her latest social media post, Waddell appears in a pink dress with lace trim, under which fellow Bachelor alum Lauren Burnham, who is also a new mom, commented, “Such a babe.”

An ancient proverb: there is no greater friend than he that will lay down his own brand for another by jumping out of a cake on #BachelorInParadise LOVE YOU WELLSY 4EVER ITS A BOY ITS A BOY THE BASS NAME HAS A BETTER CHANCE AT MAKING IT UNTIL 2329 (when my ointment line comes out)
Elsewhere in Bachelor Nation, Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert just welcomed their second child and Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson from BIP just got married. Randone also stated that he and Nielson are hoping to expand their family soon with children of their own.
Bass, 36, is an entrepreneur and the founder and director of several male erectile dysfunction clinics in Tennessee and a principal at MMM, LLC. He has appeared on both The Bachelorette, which starred Joelle “JoJo” Fletcher, and Bachelor in Paradise. Meanwhile, Waddell, 33, was a contestant on the season 19 of The Bachelor, which starred Chris Soules. A cruise ship singer, Waddell co-wrote the song “So I Do” with her then-boyfriend Erik DiNardo and performed it during her best friend Jade Roper's wedding to Tanner Tolbert.
