It’s safe to say that everyone was shocked to hear about NBA superstar Kobe Bryant’s helicopter crash that took his life. His thirteen-year-old daughter Gianna and seven other passengers were also victims of the crash. Many celebrities have shared their thoughts on social media and at national events like the Grammy’s. Most recently, singer Ciara and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson honored Bryant by wearing his jersey to the Super Bowl this past Sunday.
Ciara shared their outfits to Instagram, and her followers certainly approved them. She is seen wearing the number 24 Lakers’ traditional yellow jersey with small bottle cap reflective sunglasses. As a cute accessory, the first picture she posted shows off her growing baby bump. The couple just announced they are expecting another baby a few days ago. It’s unclear how far along she is, and they didn’t announce a due date, but she is still looking just as fierce as ever. She shared a video of herself dancing a little jig in the Lakers’ jersey and it shows her baby bump even better. Wilson is shown wearing the Lakers’ white jersey with blue reflective aviator sunglasses while putting his arms around his beautiful wife at the football game.
Before the Super Bowl, these two wore more formal attire that still paid tribute to Bryant and his daughter when they attended the NFL honors ceremony. Wilson sported a Lakers purple velvet suit, and Ciara wore a silver necklace with charms of the letters “K” and “G”. After hearing about the accident, Ciara posted a picture to Instagram of Bryant kissing his daughter and captioned it with “This is heartbreaking. I am lost for words. Praying for @VanessaBryant, the Bryant family, and other families that have lost someone. Rest in paradise Kobe and Gianna.”
Though it will take a while for the shock of Bryant’s accident to fade away, Ciara and Wilson have something very exciting coming their way in the future. Right now, they care for Ciara’s five-year-old son Future (named after his father rapper Future), and their 2-year old daughter Sienna. The new little baby is sure to be loved dearly by this family and their adoring fans!
