Maren Morris returned to Maui this month- an island that now has special meaning to her- to attend the Fourth Annual BMI Maui Songwriters Contest. The reason for this special meaning is incredibly personal to her.

In a recent interview with Storme Warren from SiriusXM's The Highway, Morris spoke candidly about the conception of her pregnancy. Morris that- due to the fact that her due date in March- an island getaway that she and husband Ryan Hurd went on approximately five months ago was around the time her baby boy was conceived.

Morris said in her interview, "I was here five months ago with my husband Ryan for vacation, and now I am mysteriously five months pregnantSo Hawaii must agree with me."

Back in June, while in Hawaii, Morris shared a picture of herself with what appeared to be a frozen cocktail.  This time, that's not in the cards. The GIRL singer sent out a request to the cyberworld asking for a beverage that's a little more exciting than plain old ice water.

"Someone send a good virgin colada recipe. 🍹#2ndTrimester," Morris included with a glowing photograph of herself in a purple bikini.

Jana Kramer responded to the post with a simple, yet fitting, "Stunning". The fellow country singer and mother of two then followed up with, "Lime, ginger, honey, club soda," as a drink suggestion.

Last month at MusicTown Detriot, Morris spoke with Radio.com. She said that she initially thought she would be having a girl. That's because she's constantly "surrounded by women". She also has all the female energy she has been emitting recently with her music.

"I grew up with one sister, my mom owns a hair salon, so I was just always surrounded by women," Morris said prior to her Stars and Strings performance. "I have an affinity for them. There's women in my band, in my crew. I've never really had a male sibling or anything like that, so I had just felt like I'm gonna have a girl 'cause I'm constantly surrounded by women. And I put out a record this year called GIRL. And nope - the test said it was a boy!"
