Danielle Monet and Andrew Gardner just welcomed their first child together. Before he was born they shared their son's nursery with People

Nickelodeon star, Daniella Monet was hoping that she was going to have a baby boy! When she was sharing her nursery she said that she was so excited to be welcoming a little baby boy. She was so excited that she went all out on her son's nursery and she was very excited to be able to share the pictures with all of us! She shared the pictures to People in an exclusive look and even a video tour of her nursery. Since she has revealed her nursery she welcomed her new son Gio.

Monet said that one of the biggest decisions that she had to make was when she was deciding what crib to get for her son. She didn't like the normal cribs that babies have because they feel like they are restrictive. She didn't want to have the typical bars because it looks like a jail. She said that she wanted her son to be able to look out of the crib without being distracted by the vertical bars. Monet felt very strongly about picking out the perfect crib for her perfect little boy. She found the perfect crib at Pottery Barn Kids “It’s called the Sloan Acrylic crib — it’s GREENGUARD [Gold Certified] and convertible,” she says. “So happy with it!” Monet also talked about the animal mural that is hanging in the nursery. She shares that it is big in size, but it is very subtle in color.

The actress and her fiance Andrew Gardner are both very thrilled to be able to be done with the nursery and once they were finished they said that they were excited to meet their son. They both are feeling like the whole situation is kind of surreal. They can't believe that they created a little human that they get to make a whole bunch of memories with. The couple had already picked out the little guy's name when they found out that they were going to have a boy. They named their son Gio, because her fiance's nickname growing up was G and Giovanni is her brother's name.

The couple announced that they were pregnant back in April. They shared that they were lucky enough to not take too long to get pregnant. It only took one month to get pregnant and she said that she was tracking ovulation. She shares that her fiance was so excited to be able to have a boy and Garnder wanted to start decorating the nursery right when they figured out the baby was going to be a boy.

Congratulations you guys on the beautiful nursery and your new baby.
