Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles have finally met the newest member of the royal family. The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall stopped by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new home at Frogmore Cottage where the couple has been enjoying their new life as a family of three with their son, Archie Harrison. The little tot was born at a nearby Windsor-area hospital on Monday, May 6.

According to Marie Claire, Charles and Camilla were delighted to meet the little newborn, who according to his father Harry, is a "quiet" little baby. While a lot of royal fans couldn’t help but wonder why it took almost a week for Charles and Camilla to visit Harry, Meghan and Archie, it’s not uncommon at all for some members of the monarchy to give their family members some time to get accustomed to their new lives as parents. Plus, it’s been reported that Charles and Camilla have an excellent relationship with Prince Harry’s wife. They’ve been very welcoming to Meghan and have even made quite an effort to help Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland feel like a part of the family.

In addition to Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles, it has also been reported that Prince William and Kate Middleton stopped by for a visit last week. Apparently, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are so eager to meet their new cousin that they keep begging their parents to tag along for a visit, too! Sure enough, the royal cousins will not only meet soon, but will also get to grow up with each other behind palace doors for endless play dates, activities and of course, royal engagements together.

So far Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any additional comments about Archie Harrison or when the public will get to see the little baby again. However, some reports indicate that Meghan Markle will most likely make an appearance at this year’s Trooping of the Colour in London. The annual event will take place this year on Saturday, June 8. Kate Middleton attended the event last year soon after she gave birth to her son, Prince Louis.
