Prince William and Kate Middleton have come under fire for only shining a spotlight on one of their three children to celebrate Father's Day.
It's a question that is often asked but should never be answered under any circumstances. Not even as a joke. "Who is your favorite child?" Even hinting at who you might prefer if you have more than one child could cause a rift in your family unlike anything you've ever know. You might well have a favorite, but which child that is should be a secret that is never revealed.
Sometimes we can accidentally make it seem as if we prefer one of our children more than the others. Prince William and Kate Middleton may have fallen into that trap on Father's Day this year. The Kensington Palace Instagram posted a photo of William with Prince Louis on a rope swing. Adorable, but it has angered some Royal Family fans.
Many of those who commented on the photo questioned why the post didn't also include snaps of William with his other children, Charlotte and George. A valid point, and the controversy didn't end there. You might have noticed in the post above that it is made up of more than one pic if you simply swipe across.
Many fans would have hoped to see George and Charlotte featured in the additional photos but alas, that was not the case. The second and final picture is of William and his own father, Charles. That caused further issues with some fans. Many questioned why Charles made an appearance yet Kate and her father are nowhere to be seen.
Kate and William have been criticized on social media a couple of times in the last few weeks. After Louis stole the show at this year's Trooping The Color, his first royal appearance, some focused on the little one not being allowed to suck his thumb. Now the royal mom and dad are being quizzed on whether they have a favorite child. Perhaps they should have posted photos of all their children on Father's Day. On the other hand, we can't imagine they're the ones in charge of what is posted on the KP account.
