The happiest of birthdays to Princess Charlotte!
The toddler celebrates turning three this week, and we’ve got some of the details regarding how the Royal Family is celebrating the occasion. Princess Charlotte, daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton, turned three earlier this week on May 2nd, 2018, only days after becoming a big sister for the very first time.
The Duchess of Cambridge and hubby Prince William welcomed a baby boy just over a week ago on St. George’s Day in the United Kingdom. The couple officially announced the birth of their baby boy, Prince Louis, through Kensington Palace and made an appearance on that same day outside of the hospital that Kate gave birth in. No official photos of the baby have been released, however, fans can expect an adorable photo of the newborn shortly.
As for photos of the birthday girl, Express.co.uk revealed that Kate and Prince William have decided not to release new photographs of Charlotte, who is now fourth in line to the throne (not too shabby for a three-year-old, right?). As for the reason the family decided on not sharing any pics, expert on all things royal, Richard Fitzwilliams believes: “It was probably felt that the marvelously cute photos of Charlotte visiting Louis last week at St Mary’s were hugely circulated and were enough”.
The couple feels as though Charlotte has received enough exposure recently, and understandably so! We can expect to see Charlotte posing with her family in their photo to celebrate the birth of Prince Louis. With Charlotte’s birthday marking a cause for celebration, we can also expect the three-year-old to play a part in her uncle, Prince Harry's, wedding to Meghan Markle on May 19.
So far, Princess Charlotte has become an excellent royal. She has taken on the role with grace and ease. The Princess was spotted waving at fans like the pro she is when she arrived at the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital to meet her newborn brother. The toddler wooed fans with her adorable royal wave, proving that she has settled into the life of a princess quite nicely.
We are our sending our best wishes to the Royal Family on behalf of Princess Charlotte’s big day!
