Rachel Weisz is proudly showing off her baby belly days after announcing she is pregnant.

The 48-year-old Oscar Winner stepped out in New York City for the first time since sharing the news she was expecting a baby with husband Daniel Craig. Last Monday, Weisz was photographed looking over the moon as she headed to an event at the 92^nd Street YMCA in the city. Decked out in a bright red textured dress with a bow tied above her baby belly, the actress was clearly showing off her newest asset. She accessorized the look with gold chunky heels and dark shades, but there was no denying it was Weisz.

That was her second function of the day where she showcased her baby bump. Earlier she made an appearance at the Tribeca Film Festival. The Bourne Legacy star was spotted in a fun and comfortable looking long-sleeve striped knit maxi dress. Although she was seen wearing the same dark sunglasses, Weisz looked casual in black slip on shoes with a large black purse.

It was just last week that she revealed in an interview that she and her husband of almost seven years were expecting their first baby together.

“We’re going to have a little human. We can’t wait to meet him or her. It’s all such a mystery. I’ll be showing soon. Daniel and I are so happy,” the soon-to-be mother of two told New York Times. Looks like Weisz is showing sooner than she thought because she has been showcasing her growing baby bump in her first public outing since the pregnancy news broke.

Although this is the first child for Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig, they are each already parents. She is the mother of 11-year-old Henry, her son from her previous relationship with Darren Aronofsky. Craig is father to 25-year old Ella, his daughter with ex-wife Fiona Loudon.

Both rarely talk about their children and do their best to keep them out of the spotlight. They will likely follow the same rule when their new bundle of joy is born later this fall. Until then, here is hoping Weisz keeps up her amazing maternity fashion style because she looks amazing.
