Nasir “Nas” Jones has announced that he is set to release an empowering children’s book entitled “I Know I Can” soon. The musician-entrepreneur aims to inspire young kids of all backgrounds to tap into their creativity to make amazing things. Their ability to create shouldn’t be limited by their age or lack of experience.

Other than being a famous lyricist, Nas is the CEO of a media and content company called Mass Appeal. They launched a kids’ brand, MAJR, which aims to inspire future generations by providing unique toys, apparel, and “innovative learning tools” because they believe that education starts in the crib. The book will be the first of a series that aims to empower kids to gain the courage to be whatever they want to be.

The book is entitled “I Know I Can”—an homage to the rapper’s 2002 single, “I Can,” from his album, “God’s Son.” It will be released through MAJR, but the date of when it will be ready for purchase is still unknown. Nas only announced the book’s release last Thursday with a photo of the cover on his Instagram.

Nas has always been inspired by the power of young people, so he created this brand and the book as a way of encouraging kids to tap into their potential. The creativity that they possess should be harnessed, not discouraged. Especially since he’s a father of two children, Nas’ goal of helping kids realize their creative potential is close to his heart. With the help of his inspiring products, the entrepreneur will inspire kids of all backgrounds to tap into their creativity.

Through projects like these, parents can have more options of educational content to provide for their kids. Not only can the kids enjoy fun content, but they can also learn a lot about their own potential. Kids need positive reinforcement and good role models to realize that they too can achieve anything. Especially when they learn that their entertainment is provided by such an inspiring person, these kids can find role models to follow. It would be really cool to learn that their favourite book was written by a famous rapper and not just any writer.
