Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Porsha Williams, recently announced to the world that she is pregnant, 6 years after a suffering a miscarriage. Most recently, a Radar exclusive revealed that it’s a million dollar baby!
Although Porsha is elated about discovering that she will become a mom, it is not without trepidation. “When I found out I was pregnant, I was excited [but] I had mixed feelings. The other feeling that I had beside excitement was fear,” the Real Housewives of Atlanta star revealed to PEOPLE in an interview for the newest issue. “I’ve had a miscarriage before in my past, which I’ve also been open about because I suffer with fibroids and had to have a myomectomy,” continued Porsha. “So just the fear of, ‘Is the baby going to be okay? Will I make it full term?’ All those questions that you ask if you’ve had a miscarriage before.” One can’t help but empathize with the ambitious, multi-talented television host and media personality who in essence, is just as real as the rest of us.

On September 19th, the true ‘cornbread-fed Georgia Peach,’ Porsha, born and raised into a prominent and historic family in Atlanta wrote on Instagram, “I am happy, healthy… and pregnant! #BabyMckinley #DM #Blessed … Love you all thank you for your support and warm wishes it means the world to us!” It’s also pretty spectacular news for Bravo TV and to prove it, they made sure that Porsha received superior recognition - a colossal raise. The idolized housewife parachuted from making $800,000 last season on the Real Housewives of Atlanta to $1.25 million - a generous surge for the housewife reputably earning the least of all the cast of ladies. Porsha’s gender spill was certainly creative - she left a comment on beauty mogul Ming Lee's Instagram photo of four adorable baby girls, dressed in pink frills and rollers while napping on the salon hair dryer chairs. Her caption hinted that her baby is going to be a girl. "OMG I wish my baby was out!! I would have her right there getting done up LOL."
Her statement was as whimsical as Porsha herself and it could only mean wonderful things for the couple. Although skittish about going to into her first doctor's appointment, Porsha admits that once she actually sees and hears her precious baby she will freely consummate the phenomenon of becoming a mom.
