Another Real Housewives of Cheshire star announced they are expecting a baby! Reality star Nermina Pieters-Mekic revealed she and husband Erik are expecting their first child together.
Fans first met the former reality star when she made a guest appearance during the third season of the popular series. It wasn't until season six when she became a full-time cast member on the show. Nermina was only on for two seasons as full time but was a friend of and a guest until season ten. Now Nermina will be swapping her days on reality TV for motherhood.
According to The Sun, the 30-year-old and her soccer player husband will be expecting their baby in April 2021 after previously suffering a miscarriage. The Bosnian-Dutch singer revealed she had a miscarriage in November 2019 and had to undergo surgery to remove a growth on her uterus. Now she is excited to reveal that she is currently 22 weeks along in her pregnancy. "It was such a surprise and we were so happy!" the former reality revealed to OK! Magazine of when she found out.
In Instagram post from Monday, Nermina announced the news and her exclusive with the magazine. She shared a picture of her and Erik up against a bar stool in their home with Nermina in a pink satin gown cradling her baby bump. "We are so happy and we feel very blessed. It’s been such a magical experience already and I can’t wait for this next beautiful chapter in our lives." she wrote in the caption. The couple of four years are more than happy to finally reveal the happy news to their fans. Before this great news, Nermina had been on a very difficult and tiring fertility journey during the past year.
Nermina's miscarriage put a damper in their plans to become parents, but luckily the couple were able to make it onto the other side. In just four months, she and Erik will have the baby they have always wanted.
Nermina also spoke about her bout with morning sickness early on in her pregnancy. Luckily she has overcome it and is ready for a smoother pregnancy in her final months. As for whether or not she would return to RHOCH? Apparently, she is not ruling the possibility out. "I left on a really good note, so I know the door’s open," she said. "Right now though, I’m busy with the house and the baby!" Maybe she will return with her new baby in tow.
