The Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador has launched a meal delivery service inspired by single moms, including her new life as one.

Last week the 54-year-old debuted her new line of cooked, ready-to-eat meals on QVC. She credits her latest business venture to her very public and recent split from soon to be ex-husband David Beador.

“As a single mom, a lot of my friends say they go through this every night. We say, Oh, if there was just an easy, healthy option for us to eat for dinner tonight,” Beador revealed to People magazine shortly after her meal delivery service was unveiled.

Real for Real Cuisine is the name of her new cooked meals. It will feature three different seafood options for people to choose from. One example is Garlic Shrimp Linguini with Zucchini Ribbons. All of the meals will be delivered within two days of ordering and can be reheated in the microwave or oven.

“We basically took my recipes and then tweaked them a little bit, because the food has to be frozen. But we are only using the freshest ingredients and that’s really important to me,” shared the now single mother of three who loves to cook.

For those who are looking to test out Beador’s new meal delivery options, you can do so by going to the QVC website. Each order consists of nine 10-oz meals, which are all less than 500 calories and cost a total of $99.96 for one shipment. Buyers can choose a combo delivery or specifically shrimp, salmon, and flounder only meal options.

RHOC’s Shannon Beador has debuted a new line of healthy cooked meals inspired by single moms. Besides being based on her new status, Real for Real is also based on Beador’s own personal weight loss journey.

“What I’ve come to realize is that everyone wants to be healthy, but you can drive yourself crazy trying to be healthy all the time. I believe that if you create a healthy balance, so if you make a few smart choices during the week, you can have that cocktail on the weekend, or you can go out to dinner and eat whatever you want in a restaurant,” she said.
