Scarlett Byrne is an actress who is recognized most for her earlier role as Pansy Parkinson in the Harry Potter film franchise, as well as her role as Nora Hildegard in the television show, The Vampire Diaries. Byrne first got engaged to Cooper Hefner back in August of 2015. In November 2019, Byrne shared on her Instagram account that they were legally married. She said: “We are looking forward to planning our wedding in the coming months where we will celebrate further with our friends and family. I love you, Cooper. I am proud to stand by your side, as your partner, your friend, and your wife.”

On March 10, 2020, Scarlett and Cooper once again shared some amazing news with their fans—they were expecting their first baby together. They each posted the same photo of Scarlett in a floral-patterned dress, where her baby bump was on full display. Byrne also shared a cute photo of her and Cooper, at what looks to be an outdoor patio. Hefner, on the other hand, shared an adorable video of them holding hands and walking down the beach together.

Cooper captioned his announcement post with: “Scarlett and I have been blessed with wonderful news we are ecstatic to share. This summer we will be welcoming a new member to the family.” His wife wrote similar words with the reveal on her account, where she said: “Cooper and I are delighted to share that we have a little one on the way. Our hearts are filled with gratitude and joy, and the two of us can’t wait to meet the new little Hefner.”

Previously, Cooper followed in his father’s footsteps and continued working for the legacy that is Playboy Enterprises. Back in 2016, Cooper had resigned because he and the CEO disagreed over the direction the company was headed. He did return to Playboy, where he worked as the chief creative officer and was responsible for an increase in the company’s earnings. As of December 2019, Hefner enlisted in the United States Air Force.

Nothing has been said about the wedding they were planning back in November, and it’s unclear whether or not their new baby will either postpone or push forward the ceremony. Regardless, fellow Harry Potter stars were quick to comment on Scarlett’s news. Chris Rankin, who played Percy Weasley, said: “What marvelous news, congratulations to you both sweetheart xxxx.” Bonnie Wright, who played Ginny Weasley, said: “Congratulations to you both, this is SO exciting!!”
