A Scottish mother just gave birth to her 11th child. After 10 boys she delivered her first little girl!
Alexis Brett is a Scottish mother. She has a large family and enjoys being a "boy-mom." Brett and her husband share 10 boys and they are in love with having so many boys. The couple wanted to have another child and Brett was over the moon excited when she found out that she was pregnant again. The couple knew that after 10 boys that they were going to be having another baby boy and so they weren't even going to ask the ultrasound tech what the gender was because they just knew that they couldn't make girls.
At Brett's 17 weeks ultrasound, the ultrasound tech wrote the gender in a little envelope. The couple decided to do a gender reveal of the new baby just to share with the family about what the next baby was going to be and when they opened up the envelope they thought the tech had made a mistake and got it wrong. Brett shared that she was "gobsmacked" by the news of her child being a girl and she couldn't believe what she had read. They were both in shock and completely dumbfounded! She said that she would have been just as excited to find out it was going to be a boy because she loved having boys and being a mother to boys, but it was quite the shock. All of the boys were ecstatic to be having a little sister.
The couple welcomed their daughter and they were very excited to have her. Brett did say that it was like they were starting over because everything is so new and different but she loves that she has a girl in her house so she isn't as outnumbered by all of the boys. The couple wanted this to be their last child and Brett said a lot of people think that they kept on having children to be able to have a girl but that isn't true. They were going to be done no matter what but this is the perfect way to complete their brode. They decided to name their daughter Cameron and she is perfect. Cameron joins the family with her 10 brothers; Campbell, 17, Harrison, 16, Corey, 14, Lachlan, 11, Brodie, nine, Brahn, eight, Hunter, six, Mack, five, Blake, three, and Rothagaidh, two.
