Meghan Markle’s friends and family members from both near and far away are visiting her and her little bundle of joy. New reports say that Meghan’s good friend Serena Williams has made a special trip to meet the newest member of the royal family, Archie Harrison, at Prince Harry and Meghan’s home in Frogmore Cottage near Windsor Castle. The young tot was born at Portland Hospital in London on May 6.

According to Elle Magazine, both Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian paid a visit to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sometime last week. Williams made a pit stop to Frogmore Cottage to help her good friend settle into her new life as a mom while also getting to spend some quality time with Baby Archie. Williams then headed off to Paris soon after her visit, where she played in the French Open.

And while Serena Williams herself hasn’t said anything about her visit, nor has she posted any photos of Archie on social media, she did post a photo of herself in what looks like a rather opulent room in London. Williams can be seen wearing clothes from her own fashion line.

Meghan Markle and Serena Williams’ friendship dates back several years. Even though the Duchess of Sussex now lives in London full-time, they often keep in contact and even visit each other whenever their schedules allow them to do so. Williams was even spotted hanging out with Markle behind the scenes during last year’s Wimbledon tournament.

Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian were special guests at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding at Windsor Castle last year. In addition, the tennis star helped plan Markle’s much-hyped baby shower in New York City back in March.

As for Meghan Markle’s new role as a royal mom, it looks as though the Duchess is taking things one day at a time at home. She’s not expected to make any public appearances or attend royal engagements until her maternity leave is over later this summer. However, there is speculation that Markle might attend this year’s Trooping the Colour, which is expected to take place on June 8 in London.
