Serena Williams, a 23-time Grand Slam tennis champion and mother of the 1½-year-old Alexis Olympia has a message for parents of active children: Embrace it. She candidly partnered with Pampers who recently launched a new product, Pampers Cruisers 360 FIT, and the campaign, #WildChild, to motivate "parents everywhere to unleash their active babies without the fear of judgment.” Who better to boast her own wild child than the bold athlete.

So what does a loyal partner choose to do with her new found power? Naturally, share the Pampers message across the pond. An expecting royal, dear friend of five years - Meghan Markle received the American posh nappies from Williams, wittingly preparing her for what awaits.

The new Pampers Cruisers 360 FIT diapers feature no-tapes and a comfortable all-around stretchy waistband specifically designed to adapt to every wild move a baby makes – they are the diaper ‘yoga pants’. Something Markle will certainly welcome. In another win for active babies, the new design of diaper is easy to pull on and take off so every wild child can quickly move on to their next adventure - a royal baby is no exception. Pampers has been a brand staple for parents for years, but their latest announcement is a major game changer - especially with such a compelling athlete and mother on their team.

Williams who frequently offers reassurance to others (like herself) struggling to cope with the challenges of motherhood feels Markle will be an exemplary mom. “She’ll be the best mom, for sure,” the athlete recently told E! News. The admiration for her friend speaking volumes about their relationship.

Williams initially met Markle at a charity flag American football game in February 2014 and have been friends ever since - the allure was immediate according to Markle. “We hit it off immediately, taking pictures, laughing through the flag football game we were both playing in, and chatting not about tennis or acting, but about all the good old fashioned girly stuff,” Meghan once wrote on her former lifestyle blog, The Tig. “So began our friendship,” she added.

It was Williams who threw Markle her lavish baby shower. She meticulously coordinated a luxurious and peaceful celebration for the mother-to-be at the penthouse of the Mark Hotel on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The upscale penthouse costs $75,000 a night, according to the hotel website. Aside from ensuring that Markle is set with diapers, and the shower of her dreams - Williams is committed to offering her friend sound parenting advice. “I had all of those high expectations, and then I had what I was gonna do and [how] I was gonna recover and I was gonna be great ― [but] this is a time where everything is not going to go as planned.” She added, “You just got to go with the flow.”

Harper's Bazaar reveals, Williams may have even shared a little more than she intended - suggesting that Markle may be having a girl! "My friend is pregnant." As the tennis champ explained, "she was like, ‘My kid’s gonna do this,’ [and] I just looked at her like, ‘No, she’s not. No, you’re not. She was like, ‘I need to talk to you about tips,’ because, yes, I had all of those high expectations."

Other advice for the Markle? "Accept mistakes and don’t expect to be perfect. We put so much pressure on ourselves."
