According to People, Shenae Grimes-Beech is struggling with naming her second child, who is on the way, and she opened up about her conflict. The 90210 star and her husband, Josh Beech, are expecting a baby boy.
Shenae shared her story on her blog, which can be read in full here. She says that they had a name for the baby, but she is no longer “in love” with the name. This can be a common problem for parents who settle on a name too early in the pregnancy. There is still a lot of time to have a change of heart.
Shenae admitted that she is “genuinely terrified of naming this baby.”
The actress said that the couple had settled on a name almost immediately, as soon as they found out that the baby they were expecting was a little boy. She then said that they told all of their family members and everyone else fell in love with it. She realized that she didn’t love the name when they started referring to the baby by the name. When trying to explain why she did not like the name, her answer was somehow vague and exact at the same time. She said that something about the way it sounded coming out of people’s mouths did not feel right.
Shenae also spoke about how different naming this baby was when compared to when they named their first daughter, Bowie Scarlett. She said that they had just assumed it would be easy to name their second child, but it has been anything but.
Shenae does not go on to reveal the name they had picked out for their son, but she does say that they had tried out a few names since, but have not settled on the final name for her upcoming bundle of joy.
