Despite a COVID-19 quarantine, Spencer and Heidi Pratt are filming The Hills: New Beginnings.

Speaking to ET via video chat, the couple revealed MTV managed to find a way to continue the filming schedule for season two. Admitting the show really got exciting before the quarantine came into effect, the couple revealed that the new season could involve new romances with individuals who are newly single.

"Yes, they've figured out how to continue filming while in quarantine," he says while adding the show got really good before the stay at home order came into effect. "But it was really good before we got locked up."

Neither of the two would go into detail regarding how the show will be filmed following the quarantine, but both confirmed no crew members would be in the house. Admitting they both like to keep their fans updated in their lives using social media platforms like Snapchat and Tic Toc, they say there's more "fluidity" in how the show will be filmed with the quarantine in effect.

Still, Spencer says since the self-isolation rule came into place, he hasn't spoken to anyone outside of his wife and two-year-old son Gunner. Their child was born on October 1, 2018, but the couple waited until the 11th to share their first photo with the baby, which appeared on the cover of US Weekly with the title "Miracle baby". Calling her baby a blessing, Heidi says her baby is a "blessing".

Before the quarantine, however, Heidi admitted she's thought about having another baby. The news came from a Tweet in October 2019 with a simple statement that she's considering a second child. Yet, even before that, the couple has been open about making a larger family. In fact, Spencer spoke about how they've spoken about having more children before that. Adding to the intrigue, he said a psychic told them they may have twins.

Back when they were talking about expanding their family, Heidi said she spoke to the crew of The Hills: New Beginning, about the time that would be best to try for a baby. They told her January 2020 would be best. Now, we're months removed from January, however, it may have been for the best considering the current circumstances.

Aside from changing how The Hills: New Beginning, COVID-19 has impacted how families are handling their pregnancy plans. While some hospitals have changed their original rules of not allowing anyone in the hospital room, some have not. As a result, many parents are considering home births so their significant others and doulas are both there for the big day.
