Malorie Beaver, a regular from Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant, threw fans into a frenzy earlier this week after she hinted she wants to have more children. The reality star, who already is a mom to 2-year-old Emmerson, took to her Facebook account to express her desire to have more children. Though the young mom didn’t say when she hopes to have more kids, she made it perfectly clear that it’s something that’s weighing on her mind.

“BABY FEVER,” Malorie wrote in all capital letters. “[It’s] kicking my a** somebody tell me know.” The comments under the post were divisive. Some of the teen mom’s followers said they’d love to see her welcome another mini-me, but others encouraged her to wait until she is ready. One person who was adamant that she isn’t in a state to welcome baby no. 2 was her own mother, Stephanie, who left her own comment – and she didn’t hold back.

“You can’t be serious you’ve lost your mind no way,” the grandmother responded to the post, The Ashley reports. Stephanie made it very clear she wouldn’t support her daughter through another pregnancy, intentional or not. “Baby fever ain’t going to be the only thing kicking you’re a** if you get pregnant again,” she concluded her comment.

Malorie didn’t reply to her mother’s comments, so it remains to be seen if the young mother will have more children in the near future. Malorie isn’t the only one in her family to welcome a baby as a teenager. Her younger sister, Rachel Beaver, also welcomed a daughter while in high school, 2-year-old Hazelee. On last season of Teen Mom: Y&P, Rachel revealed she became pregnant for a second time with her then-boyfriend. In the season finale, however, she announced that she had sadly miscarried. At that point, the star said she was unsure whether she was going to keep the pregnancy or not.

Malorie has also sacrificed up a lot in order to raise her daughter. In May, the mom-of-one revealed she had to give up a full-ride scholarship to play volleyball at Hawaii Pacific University. She found out shortly before accepting that she was pregnant with Emmerson. Though she tried to go to community college after becoming a mom, she wasn’t able to keep up with the demands of school and motherhood. In the same post, however, Malorie revealed her long-term plan is to move her family to Hawaii eventually. “That’s where I wanna raise my babies,” she explained.

Teen Mom: Y&P has been filming for its newest season, although reports suggest that COVID-19 concerns have shut down production on at least more than one occasion. As such, it remains up in the air when the new season will debut, but it’s expected that MTV will release more details early next year.
