'Teen Mom' OG Star Ryan Edwards Missed The Birth Of His Newest Son, Here's Why

Ryan Edward's wife, Mackenzie Standifer Edwards, just delivered their first son together. While Bentley was meeting his brother, Ryan was in rehab.

We all know Ryan Edward's as Maci Bookout's ex-fiance. Their first role was on 16 And Pregnant. Both Ryan and Maci lived successful high school lives before they became pregnant and their lives flipped upside down. They chose to keep Bentley and they really struggled. Their relationship was tested and they were trying to raise a baby while they were growing up themselves. It was a trying time for both of them. The couple broke up very shortly after having Bentley and they had to learn how to co-parent.

Maci and Ryan are now married to other people. Ryan married Mackenzie Standifer Edwards. Mackenzie gave birth to their son Jagger Ryan Edwards on October 9th. Bentley was able to sit in the waiting room while his step-mother was in labor. Bentley complained about the long delivery, which was about 10 hours. Jagger weighed 6 lbs 15 oz and was 19 inches long. Bentley is in love with his little brother.

Can you believe that Bentley is now 10 years old? After meeting his little brother he went home to talk to his mother, Maci, and his step-dad. He said that his little baby brother looks a lot like his daddy. Although Bentley was able to meet his little brother, his father had yet to meet little Jagger.  Ryan was in rehab. Ryan's rehab was pretty strict. It was a 90-day intensive rehabilitation facility. The facility did not allow any contact with the family for 7 straight days. Then after that, they were only allowed two phone calls a week that only last 10 minutes. Due to the intensity of the program, Mackenzie knew that her husband would not be able to make it to the delivery. This is not the first time Ryan has been to rehab, but this is the first time at this program. Mackenzie said that it was kind of hard that her husband had to miss this big moment, but she said it is worth it if he is healthy forever.

We really hope that Ryan gets back up on his feet. According to some social media pictures, it looks like Ryan finally got to meet his new little son. We want the best for him and want him to be the father that Bentley and Jagger deserve. Congratulations to Ryan and Mackenzie on the new addition to your family.
