Kristen Bell is gosh darn national treasure and if you don't believe it, you will change your mind after you hear about her "Featured Teacher Friday."

Every Friday the extremely business The Good Place actress and all-around good person highlight a deserving teacher on her personal Instagram. She posts the teacher's story along with a link to the teacher's Amazon wishlist so that anyone who wants to help can purchase what the teacher needs and have it sent right to their classroom.

Bell has 12.5 million followers so these posts get seen and these dedicated teachers reap the benefits of Bell's generous fans. Teachers usually get sent a roomful of boxes.

Teachers can nominate themselves or family and friends can nominate a deserving teacher they know. As well know, teachers don't get paid a lot. On average teachers make $47,000 a year but that number varies greatly by state, experience level, and what grade level they teach. They're usually required to supply their classrooms out of their own pockets.

One of Bell's most recent highlights was Emily from Michigan. She was nominated by her longtime best friend Brooke who emailed Bell. Brooke told Bell how Emily only had small chairs and tables in her kindergarten classroom at the start of the year. Emily spent a lot of her own money furnishing the classroom and making it comfortable and homey for her students.

Below you will see Emily's haul. Teachers who are lucky enough to be featured on Bell's Instagram wind up getting wayyy more than they need but the items will never go to waste. Schools will always run low on supplies and children will always be in need.
