Kayden Kinckle is a two year old determined little boy. He lost his leg 6 months ago but he did not allow this to stop him from walking and he was going to make sure of that.
Kayden was born with Omphalocele which is a birth defect where the internal organs remain on the outside of your body. Also, his umbilical cord was wrapped around his leg which caused deformities. The doctors first thought that Kayden would not make it and he proved them wrong and would do it again at 2 years old. At two years old he had his first two surgeries in his abdomen and had his right leg amputated. “The first step that had to be made before Kayden [could] take his first step.” said Kevin, his father.
The toddler however, was eager to get his walker and and prosthetic so he could walk, run and play. On July 4th, Kayden took his very first step and mom caught it on video. “This video is really more than first steps… we celebrate his life as well and every step he takes will be to glorify God.”
