Parents traveling with infants know that packing for a trip can seem like an endless to-do list. You’ll need countless diapers, diaper cream, wipes, formula and food. Carrying all of those supplies on a plane can be a hassle, or even impossible, so parents often bring a couple of things and then try to find a Target or Costco at their destination. Still, after a long trip, who wants to go shopping at a big box?

Luckily, you can use Amazon Prime to deliver boxes of diapers to your hotel. Most hotels are accustomed to receiving packages for guests, but just call ahead and ask for the best address to have the items shipped. Also, make sure the name on the delivery matches the name of the guest who is registered for the room. On the “Attn” line, you can add “Hotel Guest: [Your name]” and a room number, if you happen to know it. If the package should arrive before you do, let the hotel staff know so they can hold it.

This system will work well when traveling to a hotel or a private residence yet note that Airbnb discourages hosts from letting guests receive packages at the rental property. If you’re staying in an Airbnb, you can use an Amazon Locker, which are secure, self-service kiosks where you can pick up Amazon.com packages at a time and place that is convenient for you at your destination.

Simply find a locker near your destination and add it to your Amazon address book. Then, during checkout, choose the locker as your shipping address. After it has been delivered, Amazon will email you a six digit code that you can use to open the locker. There is no additional cost for using an Amazon Locker, and free two-day shipping is available with Amazon Prime.
