Usher has a lot to be thankful for! From his new Las Vegas residency to his fourth child on the way, the singer revealed he’s loving life.

During an appearance on Good Morning America last Monday, the hip-hop artist discussed how satisfying being a father is. Usher welcomed his first child with Jenn Goicoechea in September, a daughter named Sovereign Bo. Jenn is currently expecting again. He’s also a dad to sons Naviyd, 12, and Usher V, 13, whom he shares with his ex-wife Tameka Foster.

“I’m loving being a girl dad,” Usher said of his newest addition. He added that he’s even begun incorporating pink into his wardrobe.

The singer also touched on his girlfriend’s pregnancy, calling it a “little baby boom,” as his two youngest will barely be a year apart. Usher described the last few years with Jenn as “exciting.”

PEOPLE Magazine notes that there’s one thing Usher wishes he could change about fatherhood – he’d like if his kids were more into his music! Usher said his son Naviyd listens to his music the most out all his kids, but the singer still hopes they show more of an interest as time passes.

He added that Sovereign loves listening to him sing – and it may be the same way when baby no. 4 arrives!

Usher and Jenn first announced they were expecting a second child together in May when they walked the red carpet for the iHeartRadio Music Awards. Jenn’s baby bump was on full display in a fitted, black dress.

It’s unclear when Jenn is due to give birth. While the model didn’t disclose many details of her first pregnancy, Usher later disclosed that there were complications during the birth. During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Usher revealed their daughter was born early. She also came out with the umbilical cord wrapped around her next, though doctors were able to safely deliver her without any further difficulties.

Another baby-on-the-way isn’t the only major thing happening to the famous father this year. Earlier this month, Usher made headlines when he performed the first concert of his Las Vegas residency to a sold-out audience. The show lasted 90 minutes and featured a crowd of 4,300.

The singer originally announced he snagged a coveted spot in the infamous city the same month his daughter was born, September. He’ll be playing at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace well into the foreseeable future, though reports suggest that tickets have been selling quickly.
