Claire Holt is going to be a mommy. The 30-year-old actress announced in October 2018 that she was pregnant with her first child with hubby Andrew Joblon. For those who don’t know who Claire Holt is, she is an actress who started her career in 2006 at the age of 18. Her first Hollywood gig was as the Emma Gilbert in the children’s show H2O: Just Add Water.

She did a few small projects after that, but it was her role as Rebekah Mikaelson that really got her noticed. Congrats to Claire Holt and her husband Andrew Joblon! According to usmagazine.com, The Originals star announced her amazing news in October 11 via her Instagram.

“My heart is bursting. I’m so happy to share with you that we are having a baby! It still doesn’t feel real. These past few months have been filled with excitement, anxiety, tears, joy, uncertainty but most of all gratitude. Thank you all so much for your love and support – I can’t wait to share this journey with you.”

When she was finished making her announcement to all her fans, she gave Us Weekly an exclusive: “Coming from such a big family, nothing makes me more excited than the thought of being a mother. I’m so grateful.”

17 She Was Surprised By Her Gender Reveal Party

This had to be the most surprising gender reveal ever.

Why? Well according to absnews.go.com, the doctor told Claire Holt and her husband at a 12-week scan that they were going to be having a girl. They went out and bought a bunch of stuff in preparation and then at the gender reveal they were surprised to see it was the opposite.

“Gender Reveal PSA: If you are absolutely positively certain you’re having a girl, perhaps don’t buy a lot of pink things and choose a name before you confirm,” Claire wrote alongside the video of the gender reveal.

Her husband had the same reaction and wrote on his Instagram: “When the doctor tells you at the 12-week scan it’s a girl and you plan on having a daughter... then you find out he guessed wrong!”

16 She Got Engaged Eight Months After Her Divorce

When Claire Holt announced in July that she was dating Andrew Joblon, fans were surprised. It was only three months earlier that she had divorced her first husband.

Well, the surprises didn’t stop there.

According to usmagazine.com, on December 3, 2017, The Originals star announced via Instagram that they were now engaged. She announced the exciting news to her fans by posting a picture of themselves kissing as she showed off her shiny new rock. She captioned the photo: “My heart is so full,” along with a heart emoji.

A little over a year after her divorce from her first husband, Claire Holt remarried to her fiancé Andrew Joblon on Saturday, August 18, 2018.

Above the new happy couple was a beautiful arch covered with pink roses. Claire stood next to her husband while wearing a strapless gown and her husband was quite dashing in a grey suit with white sneakers.

When Claire Holt first got married, it was during a secret ceremony sometime around April 2016. It wasn’t until two months later though that she decided to share details about her special day with her new husband Matt Kaplan.

The movie came out in 2009 and it stared not only Claire Holt, but also the one and only Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon in "The Walking Dead"The Messengers 2 was a prequal to the original movie The Messengers and was released as a direct-to-video on DVD and Blu-ray on July 21, 2009.

Before Claire Holt made her movie debut, she made her television debut on the hit children’s show H20: Just Add Water, which aired in 2006.

Before being rescued they find themselves in a pool that lies under a dormant volcano, which they decide to bathe in while the full mood passes right over them.

After being rescued they try to return to their normal lives, but that all becomes a thing of a past when they realize that whenever they get wet, they become mermaids, along with power over the water. A lot more takes place, but not going to get all into. It is a cute show though and Claire made an amazing mermaid.

7 How To Survive A Shark

The movie 47 Meters Down came out in 2017 and, along with Mandy Moore, Claire Holt played one of the main roles of the movie.

The movie was about two sisters who decided to holiday out Mexico when they are invited to cage dive with sharks. Scared, but excited, they decide to do it. While down below in the cage though the cable snaps and the plummet deeper down to the ocean floor. Trapped, they try and find a way to escape with limited supplies, low air and great white sharks circling them.

According to toofab.com, both Mandy Moore and Claire Holt have a few tidbits of information when it comes to surviving a shark attack.

“I think you’re supposed to get as close to the bottom of the ocean as possible,” Mandy told TooFab. “To sort of camouflage yourself into the ground.”

Claire on the other hand told TooFab that the best thing to do is, “Pray. Say a prayer.” Mandy admitted they're "not professionals" by any means but is pretty sure "you're supposed to poke the shark in the eye if it gets close to you."

When Dustin Lynch chose Claire Holt to be in his music video for his single, “Small Town Boy,” he was surprised when she wound up showing him a little something about being on camera.

Back in 2011, Claire Holt did an interview with MTV and when asked what her favorite scary movie was, she responded with, “The Silence of the Lambs.”

Anthony Hopkins' portrayal of the menacing Hannibal Lector is perhaps one of the most frightening and brilliant performances ever. I remember being so disturbed after watching it that I swore to myself I would never watch it at night again. I probably should have vowed not to watch it again at any time as it is just as scary in the daylight! A definite must see, even if it's only once.”

3 Her Fate As Rebekah In the Season Finale Of The Originals Explained

When the show The Originals ended, fans were overjoyed that Rebekah was finally going to get her happy ending with her one true love, Marcel Gerard. There was one little confusing part though that had fans confused. How was she going to live happily ever after as a human with no cure?

Well, according to digitalspy.com, the show’s creator Julie Plec explained in detail what exactly was going to happen to TVLine.

"It's because the cure is in Damon," she revealed. "Damon Salvatore needs to grow old and have babies and grand babies and great grand babies with Elena Gilbert-Salvatore. At the end of their long Notebook life, when they [pass away] side by side, when they're ready to go, he'll hand the cure over to Rebekah," Plec explained.

Normally, when someone takes the cure out of someone who was once a vampire, that person automatically passes away. Meaning, when Elena does, Damon will be ready to say goodbye and Rebekah can have the cure.

2 She Has Three Siblings

Fun fact for all those Claire Holt fans out there. Claire actually has three siblings. She has two sisters, Madeline and Rachael Holt, and then a brother named David Holt.

According to claireholt.wikia.com, While David and Rachael are both older than Claire, Madeline is the baby of the family. All four of them get a long very well and are super supportive of one another.

It is Claire and Madeline who look exactly alike. Both have blond hair and a lot of the same features, while David and Rachael have brown hair and look more alike than Claire and Madeline.

Losing a baby is a hard thing to go through and sadly, Claire Holt is one celebrity who experienced that earlier this year.

According to eonline.com, the young celebrity had a miscarriage in April 2018. She shared a photo of herself on Instagram to let her followers known what had happened. She captioned the photo: “I took this photo 10 days ago, as I waited for surgery after my sweet little baby lost its heartbeat. I sent it to my fiancé in the waiting room to show him that I was ok. I wasn't. I've never felt more broken in my life. I debated sharing this so soon and I'm still frightened about making such a private struggle public, but I'm doing it anyway because it's important."
