Pompeo went vegan, according to People, after her yearly examination due to the conversation she had with Dr. Funk. Dr. Funk was talking to Pompeo about the health benefits that come along with a vegan lifestyle.

Pompeo and her husband and three kids are all vegans now, and she has even said that it’s super fun. She said that, when cooking vegan food, “I don’t think it’s tricky at all — it’s actually easier.” And if she thinks it’s easier, then why not have her family go vegan!

Kimberly Elise is another celebrity that is raising her two daughters on a vegan diet. This award-winning Beloved actress wrote on her website that she “found that when I dropped the meat and upped my plant-based foods, I felt lighter, stronger, more nimble, and more energetic.”
