It's a bouncing baby boy for Irish model Vogue Williams and her husband, British reality star and socialite Spencer Matthews.
Williams, 32, gave birth to a healthy, nine-pound baby boy in the early morning hours of Wednesday, September 5. Proud papa Matthews was the first to break the news on his Instagram feed, sharing a black and white photo of his hand clasped around his new son's.
"This morning at 3:55am, we welcomed our son into a quiet London hospital," he captioned. "He is beautiful and healthy. We feel truly blessed. Couldn’t be more proud of @voguewilliams ❤️"
Williams also took to social media to share her happy news, snapping a sweet picture of her hand touching her little boy's tiny legs.
"He is beautiful and healthy. We feel truly blessed," she said.
Williams and Matthews were married earlier this summer after a six-month-long engagement in an intimate family ceremony at Affric Lodge, a rural lodge that sits on a 10,000-acre family estate in Glen Affric, Scottland, about 25 kilometres away from Loch Ness. Matthews popped the question back in January of this year, after a night out with his then-girlfriend watching a performance of The Lion King at The Lyceum Theatre in London. Following the performance, the couple was given a backstage tour - and that was when Matthews surprised Williams with a proposal.
"The engagement had to be special, and as our first trip away together was to Disneyland Paris, it felt like the perfect fit," he said about his decision to propose at the theatre.
Among the small group of wedding guests were Matthew's older brother James and his wife, Pippa Middleton. Middleton, who is the younger sister of Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, is expecting her first child this fall. She is already an aunt to her sister Kate's three children, Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince Louis, four months.
Williams admitted just days before the birth on Instagram that she was slightly overdue, sharing a sweet message praising Matthews for all of his support during some of her more "grumpy" moments.
"He's keeping me happy and being a great support... you're the best," she gushed.
This is the first child for both Williams and Matthews. Williams was previously married to Brian Fadden from the Irish pop vocal group, Westlife. Fadden and Williams ended their three-year marriage in 2015.
The couple has yet to reveal a name for their new bundle.
