Twin sisters Anne Hunt and Elizabeth Hammel were finally reunited after almost 8 decades of being apart thanks to the help of their children. The crazy thing (well crazier than not seeing your twin for 8 decades) was that Anne only found out she had a twin when her adoptive mother passed... last year!

This also makes Anne and Elizabeth record holders as they are the longest known separated twins. They beat the previous record by three years. The twins were born in 1936 to a single mother who could not afford to keep both of her daughters, therefore Anne was given up for adoption. Elizabeth, who stayed with the birth mother, always knew she had a long lost twin, but never imagined they would be brought back together.

The ladies will be taking part in a University Study in California that studies twins who have been raised apart. However, they will be taking some time to look at photos and get to know one another! So Beautiful!
