We see celebrities in their Oscar and Grammy dresses, looking like every female’s fairy tale. They seem god-like—an expectation that none of us can live up to. But celebrity moms know what it is like to be pregnant; to gain 40-plus pounds and then have to lose it again--only they have to do it in front of the whole world, with everyone watching.

Rest assured that celebrity mothers are like us; some have bounced back to their pre-baby weight, and some have settled into a fuller figure, happily embracing the way that they look post-baby. They are still fabulous, still fit, but curvier in all the right places.

It is imperative to remember that even famous women are human—their photos get airbrushed, liquefied, smoothed—they have been created.

But hasn’t everyone wondered what size they actually are? We all assume that because celebrities are fit and fine that they must be double zeros or some BS size that exists only on a mannequin. But they vary depending on height, weight, and muscle mass.

Behold these 15 celebrity moms—and their actual dress sizes. One may be surprised to learn that many of them exist on the plane of a normal woman’s body spectrum.

15 Heidi Klum - Size 8

Heidi Klum is arguably one the most famous models of our time. She is poised, beautiful and witty. And that accent. She has also had four children, is in her forties, and still looks ah-mah-zing. She has said that her size has fluctuated a lot over the year between her pregnancies.

I want to believe that she is human, but I have had three babies and cannot comprehend how she can still maintain her size 8 dress size— but I think it might be partly due to genetics.

Heidi says, "I love my shape because it's mine. At the end of the day, it's not what anyone else thinks about my body but how I feel about myself. I'm working it and owning it!

14 Adele - Size 16

Adele isn’t just a pretty face with a deep, soulful voice that will make you sob in your car while driving to get groceries; she is also an advocate for body positivity. She gets asked about her weight a lot in interviews, and seems completely disinterested in talking about it. She doesn’t care, so why should we?

Some singers drop a significant amount of weight when they get famous, hiring personal trainers and diet experts to help them transform. But not Adele. She is perfectly happy just being herself. And I don’t think anyone will argue with that.

She says, “I’ve never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines. I represent the majority of women and I’m very proud of that.”

Adele’s dress size is a 16.

13 Tyra Banks - Size 6

Tyra began her career as a model but has since become a business mogul. She has had multiple shows, has written a book, and has been ranked Time Magazine’s “most influential people” numerous times.

Tyra stated, “Black women don't have the same body image problems as white women. They are proud of their bodies.”

We can all take a page of Tyra’s book and try to embrace the way our bodies are formed, whether they’re curvy, slender, plump, or somewhere in between.

Tyra built her professional life around her body, so clearly she knows what she’s talking about. Her entire job on America’s Next Top Model revolved around judging women’s bodies.

Even at the age of 43, Tyra’s dress is a size 6.

12 Melissa McCarthy - Size 18

Melissa McCarthy is freaking HILARIOUS. But she is also forging new trends in Hollywood of being more accepting on what a leading lady can look like. Her sense of humor and her delivery are rare, as is her bubbling personality. Her first breakout role was as the lovable Chef Sookie on Gilmore Girls.

Melissa is a mother of two; Vivian (10) and Georgette (7).She is a role model on many fronts, and isn’t known to shy away from talking about it.

She says, “We have to stop categorizing and judging women based on their bodies. We are teaching young girls to strive for unattainable perfection instead of feeling healthy and happy in their own skin.” You tell ‘em, girl!

Melissa is a size 18 dress size.

11 Jessica Simpson - Size 6

Jessica Simpson began her career as a singer but has morphed into a fashion mogul over the years. She is driven, sexy, and has legs that look like they could crush your spine. She has given credit to diet and exercise for getting her post-baby body back in shape, though has admitted it hasn’t been an easy road. She has said that she weighs more now, but has more muscle and is fitter than ever before.

On posing pregnant (and nude) for the cover of Elle Jessica said, “It's funny to be at your heaviest and feel the most confident. I just take such pride in being a mom! I just love my body more than ever now."

Jessica fluctuates between a dress size 4-6.

10 Jessica Alba - Size 2

Jessica Alba has always had a rocking body, and has not been afraid to show it. But she has said publically that she wasn’t sure quite how to handle the status of sex symbol that she attained after her breakout role on Dark Angel. Any woman can attest that it is harder to appreciate and love your own body, and easier to judge yourself harshly.

Jessica said in an interview, "I was a lot more critical of my body when it was probably pretty awesome," she said. "Why did I not ever wear jean shorts? That's so crazy. I was so skinny. I didn't have any cellulite… what was I thinking?"

I don’t know what she’s thinking now, honestly. She still looks amazing, and her dress size of 2 should prove that.

9 P!nk - Size 6

Pink is all about positive body image. She recently posted a photo on social media that showed her chiseled frame lifting weights captioned, "By 'regular standards' that makes me obese. I know I'm not at my goal or anywhere near it after Baby 2 but dammit I don't feel obese. The only thing I'm feeling is myself. Stay off that scale ladies."

Pink isn’t afraid to show her fans that staying off of the scale and not stressing about their size is a healthy and admirable choice, especially for new moms.

Pink has two children, Willow (5) and Jameson who was born in December of 2016.

Even after her two kids, wholesome exercise has landed Pink’s dress is a 6.

8 Snooki - Size 4

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi made it big as everyone’s favorite diva on the reality show Jersey Shore. Snooki’s small frame holds a magnitude of brashness and boldness. Her attitudes, as well as her curves, are legendary. But Snooki suffered from an eating disorder in High School, which brought her down to a shocking 80 pounds. Lucky for us, she learned to embrace her bod, and when she debuted on the small screen, she had plump in all the right places.

In August of 2012, the lovable Snooki gave birth to son, Lorenzo Dominic, and bounced right back. With her dark skin and wavy black locks to match, her dress size now lies at a comfortable size 4. More incredible than her dress size is the fact that she is only 4’8!

7 Hilary Duff - Size 8

Hilary was everyone’s favorite child star on the hit Disney show Lizzie McGuire. She went on to have an impressive music and acting career following it. With a flair for fashion, she has always been in the sights of the media, which opened her up to criticism after the birth of her son, Luca.

"The second I had Luca, I went to go get my hair blown out at the salon, and I hadn't stepped outside in, like, 15 days," she remembers. "I was learning how to be a new mom, and I needed to go get my hair done. Then they're like, 'Hilary Debuts Her Post-Baby Body!' I was like, I'm not debuting sh*t right now."

Hilary really doesn’t need to justify anything—she looks great in a size 8 dress of any kind.

6 Jennifer Love Hewitt - Size 2

Jennifer Love Hewitt has always been tiny; from her days on the Disney Channel, to her break through role on Party of Five, and the bazillion movies that followed. She has two kids, Autumn (3) and Atticus (2)—and yet looks like she did when she was 19. (I am not aging like that. Humph.)

She is another celeb champion for positive body image, though I don’t know how seriously people are going to take her when they find out she is still a dress size 2. Genes have to play some sort of role, right?

Jennifer has been quoted as saying, “When I meet young girls, I'm always like, 'Just do me one favor. Love what you look like right now.”

5 Brooklyn Decker - Size 4

Brooklyn Decker looks like the stereotype of an American model, which makes sense because she was one. She has made Sport Illustrated Swimsuit Issue multiple times, and has honed her skills as an actress, as well.

The blonde bombshell stands at 5’9”, and is still in incredible shape, even after the birth of her son, Hank, in 2015. But even Decker admits that she has struggled with body image. She said, “When I moved to New York, I was always with other aspiring models. There were bingers and purgers, and everyone watched each other eat. It freaked me out. I did juice fasts and crazy diets and ended up gaining weight. My father did an intervention and got me to stop obsessing about everyone else and wrecking my body.”

Brooklyn is a dress size 4.

4 Kate Winslet - Size 4

Kate quickly became my idol when she played the character of Rose in the epic romantic movie, Titanic. She has never been excruciatingly skinny, and has shown that you can be beautiful and successful and embrace your body type.

It is still impressive that at the age of 41, Katie is a dress size 4.

In an interview Kate explained, “As a child, I never heard one woman say to me, ‘I love my body’. Not my mother, my elder sister, my best friend. No one woman has ever said, ‘I am so proud of my body.’ So I make sure to say it to Mia [her daughter], because a positive physical outlook has to start at an early age.”

3 Chrissy Teigen - Size 6

Chrissy Teigen is everyone’s favorite celebrity mom. She is not only beautiful but hilarious, as well. She is also known for putting haters in their place and calling out random dudes on Twitter. She is a model and an actress, whose post-baby body is still the envy of women everywhere. But you may be shocked to learn that this sexy enchantress is a dress size 6.

Dress sizes cannot measure what a woman looks like—they are completely deceiving. Like the numbers on a scale, they are just one way to gauge mass. Don’t let your number weight you down. Furthermore, every clothing company calculates their fits differently, so clinging to any number for self-value is just gonna mess with your head.

2 Liv Tyler - Size 2

Oh, Liv. You will always hold a special place in my heart, as I have seen every single one of your movies.

Right, back to the story.

Liv Tyler looks the epitome of the girl next door; she is tall, lanky, and has flowing brown tresses. She has three children, and you would never it by looking at her—she is still a dress size 2.

On post-baby bodies Liv advises, Just be kind to yourself. Everyone is different. Everyone’s body is different, everyone’s birth experience is different. Some people’s body type is that they totally look normal right after [birth], and [for] others, it takes many months. But I think it’s best to focus on your health and the health of your baby and bonding.”

1 Tori Spelling - Size 6

I sort of lost count of how many kids Tori Spelling has had now, but I confirmed that she is now at 5. Her newest addition, Beau, arrived in March of this year. She credits her bounce-back to diet and to swimming.

She said in an interview, “My doctor suggested I try swimming. It’s good for the whole body and low-impact since you’re weightless. So I started doing that in our pool in January. I don’t count laps. I’ll swim until I’m sore or play Marco Polo with the kids instead.”

Not all of us have access to a pool, but it is clearly a great way to burn calories and gain muscle because even after all of her children, her dress size is a 6.
