Blessed day! Handmaid’s Tale star Yvonne Strahovski revealed she’s pregnant with her second child when she stepped out at the Los Angeles premiere of The Tomorrow War on Wednesday.

The actress looked chic in a white dress, which featured long sleeves and a high turtleneck, as she posed for photos on the red carpet. The figure-hugging gown outlined her burgeoning baby bump. Yvonne paired the outfit with simple, gold accessories and diamond earrings, while she styled her short, blonde hair out of her face.

Yvonne later shared photos of herself at the event on her Instagram page, which features 924,000 followers. The actress thanked her beauty team for helping create the stunning red-carpet look, adding that it’s been a while since they’ve been able to come together to do this. She also took a moment to plug in her new movie, which recently dropped on Amazon Prime. Yvonne did not, however, directly address the news of her second pregnancy in the caption.

PEOPLE Magazine reports that Yvonne announced her first pregnancy in May 2018 with a post to Instagram. She shared a photo of her baby bump in addition to a sweet caption in which she expressed her excitement to become a first-time mom.

This will be the second child for Yvonne and her husband Tim Loden. She originally revealed they were married at the 2017 Emmy Awards after six years together. Their first child, son William, was born in October 2018. At the time, Yvonne shared a black-and-white image holding the newborn to announce his birth.

It’s not clear how Yvonne’s pregnancy will affect the filming of The Handmaid’s Tale, if at all. The dystopian television show originally premiered in 2017, and its fourth season just concluded in mid-June.

Yvonne previously opened up about how first pregnancy became a challenge while filming the show’s second season. While speaking to Australia’s The Panel in 2018, the actress said she found it “tricky” trying to hide her pregnancy from the cast and crew, Us Weekly notes. Eventually, by the end of filming, she revealed she was expecting. Yvonne later reflected on her pregnancy the following year via social media, the publication adds. She referred to it as a “magical thing.”

In addition to her role as Serena Joy Waterford on The Handmaid’s Tale, Yvonne is known for portraying Sarah Walker in NBC’s Chuck, Hannah McKay in Dexter, and CIA Agent Kate Morgan in Live Another Day. She’s also been in a handful of films, including The Predator (2018) and Killer Elite (2011).
