It’s only been a few months since Zach and Tori Roloff experience a heartbreaking miscarriage, but the reality television couple says they’re remaining “hopeful” that a third child is in their future.

Speaking to Us Weekly, Tori said she sees their family welcoming a third child “one day,” though she said they don’t feel in any rush.

“Until then, we’re just kind of happy where we are,” she said.

The Little People, Big World star added that she and her husband Zach are “definitely” considering adoption. Zach added to the conversation, noting he’s always had a lot of respect for families that choose to adopt or foster. He said that while he and his wife haven’t talked about the possibility in great detail yet, he’s very open to it.

Tori originally opened up about her miscarriage in March. The reality star hadn’t revealed to the public that she was expecting again, but she felt compelled to share her experience to provide support to other families. Tori announced the difficult news on her Instagram page, which boasts 1.5 million followers, by sharing a cross-stitch of her family. The cross-stitch not only features Zach, Tori, and their two older children, but also a depiction of Jesus holding a third baby. Tori included a positive Clear Blue pregnancy test in the image.

In the caption, the mom-of-two said she’d never experience pain so devastating until her miscarriage. Tori added that she experienced no symptoms with the miscarriage, adding nothing could’ve prepared her for the loss. She continued on to say that they never learned the sex of their unborn baby, but Tori noted that Zach had been a huge source of support since the loss. Her post was liked more than 256,000 times on the social media platform.

AOL notes that Tori and Zach are already parents to 4-year-old son Jackson as well as 19-month-old daughter Lilah. During their interview with Us Weekly, the couple revealed their son has stopped asking for more siblings as he’s still struggling to adjust to having a younger sister to share with. Though Tori said that Jackson knew she was pregnant again, he hasn’t brought the subject up since his parents stopped talking about it.

Tori and Zach have been married since 2015. They’re regulars on their family’s show Little People, Big World, which has been on the air since 2006, in addition to its spin-off Little People, Big World: Wedding Season, a constant TLC fan-favorite that’s been going strong since 2012.
