Zooey Deschanel Dishes On Lauren Conrad's Son Having The Same Name As Her Son

They say that great minds think alike. This may be referring to numerous scenarios such as two people ordering the same meal at a restaurant, wearing the same clothes, or liking the same genre of movies. They're merely funny little coincidences that pop up every once in a while. When it comes to one's children, this saying can apply to them sharing the same name, too. That's happened a lot, and will most likely continue to happen for a long time.

This can be seen as the case for actress Zooey Deschanel, 39, and reality TV star turned fashion designer Lauren Conrad, 33. Deschanel recently learned that Conrad named her newest son Charlie Wolf. The reason this is interesting and concerns Deschanel is that her two-year-old son is also named Charlie Wolf! That's right- these two celebrities gave their sons the same name.

Granted, this could've been nothing more than a pure coincidence. Such things happen way more than you think. Having said that, however, Deschanel was quick to point out that Charlie Wolf "is a really specific name" to pick for one's child. But if you're thinking that Deschanel's upset about the situation, then you couldn't be more wrong. If anything, she appears to be amused by the whole thing.

"That was so weird, right? I don’t think she knew it. We have a really good mutual friend, and she was like, 'Did you know that Lauren Conrad…' I said, 'No, that’s so funny!' She’s like, ‘I don’t think she knew it," she explained in a recent interview.

So it sounds like Deschanel has no issue with Conrad naming her newborn Charlie Wolf after all. There doesn't appear to be any annoyance or anger from the actress, meaning that it's all okay. For her part, Conrad hasn't commented on the matter whatsoever. But it appears as though this is nothing more than just a happy coincidence of picking the same cool name. On the bright side, two cute boys have great names, and each has wonderful parents caring for them. All's well that ends well!
